Your Role: Market Development Manager

You'll be the face of Delta Wye Engineering, driving market development efforts across North America. This position is fully remote, located anywhere in Canada or the USA – or could be in our head office in beautiful Kelowna, BC, Canada. This position could be part-time or full-time depending on the applicants experience and skillset and fit.

Your mission will be to:

  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing clients while igniting new ones through strategic client visits and engaging sales calls.
  • Drive sales growth with innovative strategies, supporting the expansion of Delta Wye’s market presence.
  • Lead and participate in client meetings and industry events, creating a community of informed and enthusiastic partners.
  • Collaborate with team members to forecast sales and develop strategies that translate into record-setting growth.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers and suppliers regarding project inquiries.
  • Manage technical RFP, RFQ, and tender responses.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure successful hand-off from sales to project execution.
  • Travel extensively across North America to meet with current and potential customers.

  • A seasoned relationship builder, skilled in communication, and equipped with a knack for solving problems.
  • Someone who values teamwork but also enjoys the independence and challenges of fieldwork.
  • Ideally, you have a background in engineering or a strong passion for the industry.


  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in sales, account management, or business development roles.
  • Preference for a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Customer-service oriented with a successful sales track record.
  • Willingness to travel and work after hours as required.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base + Commission compensation plan. Base salary ranges from $65k - $70k (Junior) to $100k+ (Senior).
  • Potential to double or more your total take home pay with commission (uncapped).
